MakeFit

MakeFit was founded with the mission to help women improve their health and well-being through personalized fitness and nutrition solutions. Led by a dedicated professional, MakeFit offers tailored programs that focus on exercise, nutrition, and mental support, recognizing the unique needs of each client. The goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where women feel comfortable and empowered on their journey to a healthier lifestyle. For this project, I developed the entire website, branding, and initial social media templates, giving MakeFit a cohesive, professional online presence that reflects their commitment to personalized wellness for women.

The client wanted a vibrant, engaging online presence for MakeFit, a brand dedicated to promoting fitness and wellness for women. They needed a complete brand identity and a website that was visually appealing, intuitive, and fully responsive across devices. Additionally, the client requested specific features to enhance user interaction, including a WhatsApp integration, an Instagram feed on the homepage, and a reservation function to allow potential clients to easily book appointments.

Research and design process

To kick off the project, I conducted market research and competitor analysis to understand trends in the fitness and wellness industry. This helped me gather ideas and inspiration, which I shared with the client in the form of a moodboard. Together, we discussed color schemes, the overall mood of the brand, and design preferences. I created multiple logo concepts, allowing the client to select the one that best represented their vision. This collaborative, iterative process continued as I developed a design system and built wireframes, meeting weekly with the client to review progress and adjust based on feedback.

Building and development

Once the high-fidelity designs were finalized in Figma, I transitioned the project to WordPress using Elementor. Although it was my first time building a full website in this platform, I was eager to learn and bring the design to life. Every detail from the prototype was faithfully translated to the live site, including requested features like the appointment booking system, live Instagram feed, and WhatsApp integration. The final product matched the high-fidelity prototype and met the client's expectations for both functionality and responsiveness. The client was thrilled with the outcome, and there’s potential for future collaboration to further develop the website.
